Little Ones Lost II

I am so sad to let everyone know, that little Adam, who wandered off in April, was found the other day.  He drowned the day he went missing and he was recovered this past Tuesday.  How terribly sad and tragic.

I wanted to write this post for Adam and feel that awareness is so important to help keep these tragedies from happening again.  It only takes a few seconds, and they can disappear and be gone forever.

Poor Adam.  I am very sad that he passed away, just a baby ... my deepest sympathies go out to his family and all who love him.  I am so very sorry for their devastating loss.

*HUGS* and love to all.

This story absolutely broke my heart. I cannot imagine experiencing this kind of loss. This is one of my biggest fears. My guy could easily wander off and it's scarey. That's why I never ever take my eyes off of him. Ever.

What heart-breaking news. I cannot imagine what his family is going through and am resolved to love my boys that much more and count my blessings for every day I have with them!

That would be my Ben. Ben loves water, whether it's a pool or the ocean. He also doesn't understand he can't swim. We take him to the pool 3x a week to get him the exercise and sensory input he wants/needs, but if I took my eyes off him, or he got away. He would walk deeper and deeper I have no doubt.
When we go to the shore, it's his idea of paradise, and my hell. He gets very independent and just wants to walk further out. Not horrible when he's 5, but I do think, "what heppens when he's 12-15, physically and head strong. What will I do?

Dear Jacquie,

It is very scary! I hope that it gets better. It is such a horrible thing to have to worry about. Sending you *HUGS*! Heather

So sad! My heart goes out to his parents and especially to his big sister who last saw him. It may haunt her for the rest of her life. Poor little guy is at peace. (((Hugs)))

Hi Jaxmom,

It is truly tragic ... heartbreaking. :( I feel for her too. Poor thing, can't imagine how she must feel and I hope she gets some help to deal with this tragedy.

You're right, poor wee lamb. :(

Thank you. *HUGS*
